Every member verifies their mobile number and work email before they can search, book, or host rides. Profiles show professional context — not anonymous handles. Accountability is part of the community. Repeated cancellations, no-shows, and unreliable behaviour affect a member's commute reputation and may limit platform access. We encourage prompt communication through in-app chat when plans change — respect for each other's time is a core expectation.
You sign in with mobile OTP and verify a company work email before participating. Personal email domains (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) are not accepted for professional verification. Verification confirms checks performed on the platform — not endorsement by Poolzy or your employer.
Poolzy Plus is a platform membership that unlocks search, booking, and hosting features. It is separate from ride contributions between members, which are settled directly via UPI. Membership supports the trust infrastructure — verification, community tools, and platform operations.
You can save someone you trust as an emergency contact in your profile. From Safety center, you can call them or open a pre-filled SMS on your phone — you tap Send, your carrier delivers it. Poolzy does not place calls, send messages, or track your live location. In an emergency, call 112 first.
No. Poolzy is a technology platform that connects verified professionals for shared commutes. Hosts and riders arrange journeys directly with each other. Poolzy does not operate vehicles, employ drivers, or collect ride fares.
